Charges have been laid in a shooting at a banquet hall in Richmond, B.C., where four people were wounded.

Twenty-six-year-old Sukhdeep Singh Sandhu of Surrey is accused of three counts of attempted murder and one of aggravated assault in Wednesday night's incident.

He was arrested minutes after the men were shot during a party involving about 150 people at the Riverside Banquet Hall.

The four victims were taken to hospital after the attack and were listed in stable condition.

RCMP have said the shooting was targeted, but investigators are trying to determine if it was also gang related.
