B.C. Crown's prosecutor's office is looking over the possibility of appealing the Allan Schoenborn triple murder trial.

Crown prosecutor's spokesman Neil MacKenzie says an internal review of the verdict is under way with a decision coming no later than March 25th.

MacKenzie says senior counsel with the Criminal Justice Branch and lawyers who specialize in the appeal process are looking over the verdict.

Schoenborn admitted to killing his three children in April 2008 in Merritt, but a judge found Schoenborn not guilty by reason of a mental disorder.
