Kanye West has cancelled three upcoming concerts on his Yeezus Tour – including the Halloween night show in Vancouver – following a road accident that damaged concert equipment "beyond repair" and has made it "impossible to put on the show."

A statement from publicists for concert promoter AEG released Thursday afternoon said a truck carrying the Yeezus Tour's custom-made video truss and 60-foot circular LED screen was in an accident on the road to Vancouver on Wednesday.

"The gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team," read the statement.

"As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated."

It's the second postponement for the Vancouver show, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 20 but postponed hours before showtime due to "unforeseen circumstances." The rapper's shows scheduled for Nov. 3 in Denver and Nov. 5 in Minneapolis have also been postponed. Earlier, West's Anaheim show, scheduled for Nov. 1, was also cancelled – "due to production logistics" and rescheduled for Dec. 13.

AEG says further details on affected tour dates will be announced "shortly."
