Out There: Stanley Park Hallowe'en Ghost Train

Circus of Disaster is this year’s Stanley Park Hallowe’en Ghost Train theme.

Handout/Handout

Discover what evil clowns lurk in the wilds of Stanley Park at Circus of Disaster – this year's Stanley Park Hallowe'en Ghost Train.

A coulrophobe's nightmare, this year's train will transport brave passengers into a world where clowns and wild animals have escaped the circus, knife acts go awr, and zombies fly on creepy trapezes.

It's the latest creation by the ever-imaginative Mortal Coil Performance Society, who each year transform the Stanley Park Miniature Train into a fun, family-friendly Halloween event that draws more than 200,000 brave souls.

Little ones can also enjoy pumpkin carving, craft making, a haunted maze and more; and make sure to try Creatures of the Night, a guided nature walk where you can find out what critters roam the forest at night – and what they like to eat.

The Stanley Park Hallowe'en Ghost Train runs nightly through October 31. All ages welcome, but the ride may be too scary for kids under 5. Wheelchair accessible. Tickets on site or at ticketmaster.ca.
