A teacher at one of British Columbia's top boys' schools is facing child-pornography charges after an intensive two-week police investigation.

The Vancouver Police vice unit arrested the teacher shortly after 7 a.m. Friday and executed search warrants at both his home and school in the afternoon.

A tip that the teacher had been using social networking sites to access child porn sparked the investigation. Police allege that the teacher was accessing the website both at home and at work.
