Foul play has been ruled out in the case of a California high school student who plunged to his death in Capilano Canyon in North Vancouver on Sunday.

The RCMP say it appears to have been an accident when 17-year-old Daniel Cho fell from a viewing platform at the Capilano Suspension Bridge while on a school tour.

The say nobody saw Mr. Cho climb over the railing, but the boy had been seen doing the same thing earlier in a different area and had been warned to stop.

Police have turned over their findings to the Coroner's office, which is taking over the investigation.
