Vancouver police are looking for a man who they believe is behind attacks on two sex trade workers.

Police say a sex trade worker was approached earlier this week by a man who asked for sex, but he got very agitated, demanded his money back, and then punched the woman in the face.

The woman called the police after the man fled on foot, and as officers searched for him, they found another sex worker who said she was similarly attacked.

The second victim said a man requesting sex asked for his money back, and then hit her in the arm with a bat or a pipe.

Police say the first woman received bruising to her face, and the other suffered a possible fracture to her elbow.

Investigators are looking for a suspect who is described as a white man in his mid-20s, has a slim build, is clean-shaven, and was wearing jeans, a grey or beige sweatshirt, and a reddish baseball cap.
