How many public-sector employees are really on Ontario's 'Sunshine List'?

One of the main criticisms against Ontario's "Sunshine List" is that it's not adjusted for inflation. The $100,000 threshold set in 1996 would be $137,840.91 in today's dollars — removing many employees from the list. This chart shows the number of people on the Sunshine List since it began in 1996. This view shows the number of employees on the list after adjusting for inflation. Up to 75 per cent of the employees would not meet the adjusted threshold in some years. Nevertheless, there is still an increase on the list, with more than four times as many appearing in 2013 than were on the list in 1996.
