A Manitoba family battling a rare cancer caused by the insulation in their home has lost another member to the disease. Rebecca Bruce died Wednesday morning.

Ms. Bruce was the daughter of 73-year-old Nora, who died in May of mesothelioma, and sister of Raven Thundersky, who has been demanding the federal government remove the Zonolite insulation from natives' houses.

Federal Housing Minister Joe Fontana has called Zonolite only a potential health risk, but Health Canada has issued a warning to Canadians not to touch it. CP
