Lego toy promotes violence, activists say

A group of peace activists are taking aim at Lego, a popular toy they say could promote violent behaviour in children.

Specifically, they target a type of Lego set called Bionicles, where the heroes battle the evil forces of Makuta who have taken over the paradise of Mata Nui.

"It's a violent Lego toy," said Derrick Martens of Project Peacemakers, which conducted its fifth annual toy inspection in Winnipeg on the weekend. CP
