A man accused of killing a woman and leaving her body in a Saskatoon garbage dumpster has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 15 years.
James Lee Busch pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Sandra Marie Ramsay.
The body of the 41-year-old woman was discovered inside a suitcase that was dropped in the dumpster in May.
Mr. Busch, who is 33, was arrested along with an 18-year-old woman in the community of Wilkie.
Both were initially charged with interfering with human remains, but the count against Mr. Busch was later upgraded to murder.
