Nova Scotia police investigate three suspicious fires in Cape Breton

Nova Scotia police say they're investigating three suspicious fires that happened in the same Sydney neighbourhood.

Cape Breton Regional Police say a building housing three apartments on Lorway Street was extensively damaged in a fire early Saturday morning.

About 20 minutes earlier on nearby Argyle Street, a shed was destroyed in a blaze.

There was also a third fire reported on Lorway Street after a wreath hanging on the front door of a home was set on fire.

No one was injured in any of the fires.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call police.
