- An RCMP officer who accidentally fired a bullet into her neighbour's Langley residence is to appear in court Jan. 19 on a charge of careless use of a firearm.

Dawn Adams was off duty in July when she fired her service weapon inside her home.

The bullet entered a neighbouring home and came to rest in a door frame. The neighbouring suite's occupants were not injured.

Langley RCMP conducted the investigation. The Crown approved the charge against Ms. Adams yesterday.
