The Ontario legislature passed a resolution yesterday to recognize the third week of November as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week.
Conservative education critic Elizabeth Witmer, who introduced the resolution, said it will entail raising awareness among students and teachers on bullying.
Recently, two separate lawsuits were launched against two Ontario school boards in which mothers alleged teachers and school administrators failed to protect their children from bullies.
