Bill Domm, 69, an outspoken Progressive Conservative member of Parliament for 14 years, died Saturday in a Toronto hospital.

Mr. Domm was the reeve of Chandos Township for three terms, and the warden for Peterborough county in 1977 before starting his federal stint.

He was known as somewhat of a maverick as he opposed his own government's positions on metric conversion and capital punishment.

Mr. Domm leaves his wife, Joan, and their children, Kevin, Gregg, Jeff and Perri. The funeral is Thursday. CP
