Police investigating after woman’s body found in Rideau River

Ottawa police are investigating after a woman's body was found in the Rideau River Tuesday between Vincent Massey Park and Carleton University.

Police say they responded to a call just before 11 a.m. They say the death is being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem is scheduled.

Police haven't released the identity of the woman.
