Police sting garners charge of sex solicitation of child Add to ...

UPDATE: Daniel Kumer is no longer facing any charges with respect to these allegations. The luring charge was withdrawn on December 17, 2009, and the prostitution charge was stayed by the Crown on April 12, 2012.

Peel police have charged a man they allege arranged to pay for sex with an officer posing online as a 13-year-old girl.

Officers say they were tipped off that someone was trying to solicit intercourse with children online.

Police arrested a man at his home on Sunday. Toronto resident Daniel Kumer, 36, is charged with luring and procuring child prostitution.
