Four people in Regina face 222 criminal charges including attempted murder following a shooting and a string of robberies in the city.

The accused include three males and a female ages 17, 18, 22 and 23.

Police say in one case a 16-year-old boy was shot in the hip.

Officers are investigating armed robberies of a store and two offsales liquor outlets and a robbery and an attempted robbery of two bystanders.

Julius Bird, 18, Justin Peigan, 22, Krystal Fesser, 23, and a 17-year-old youth all face charges including attempted murder, robbery and assault with a weapon.

They are to appear in Regina court Wednesday morning.
