Corporate taxes have become a federal election issue. The Liberals would like to see the rate at the 2010 level of 18 per cent. The Conservatives would like to cut the rate to 15 per cent. The table compares total federal and provincial corporate taxes paid in Canada to what companies pay in other OECD countries, excluding Estonia, which became an OECD member on Dec. 9, 2010.
