Three men who broke into the home of an elderly couple during a home invasion early Sunday morning made off with three rifles and a shot gun along with cash and jewellery, police say.
The men wore black clothing and facemasks when they broke into the couple's home in the Birchmount Ave. and Kingston Rd. area, police said. There, the trio forced the couple into the basement and assaulted them.
The victims sustained minor injuries.
