Winnipeg ex-cop pleads guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault

Just as his trial was to begin, former Winnipeg Police officer Richard Dow has pleaded guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault.

Two of the charges involved youths.

Richard Dow was found not guilty last week of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in 2000.

Mr. Dow, who is 58, ran a modelling agency on the side and the woman was an aspiring model.

He served 18 years on the force before retiring in 2007.

On Monday, he had entered not guilty pleas on the other charges, but that was changed to guilty on Tuesday.
