Emergency relief efforts are underway amid the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Haiyan. Reports suggest widespread shortages of food, water and medicine, with President Benigno Aquino deploying soldiers to some of the worst hit areas. The US has already sent approximately 90 Marines and sailors to the Philippines.
