Ontario's election could come down to vote splits in key ridings and the ground games of respective parties, as the Liberals and Progressive Conservatives remain close in popular support and the NDP sits high above its totals from the last election.
The latest Nanos Research tracking poll, commissioned by The Globe and Mail and CTV, shows Dalton McGuinty over Tim Hudak, with the Liberals attracting 37.7 per cent support compared to 33 per cent for the Tries. Andrea Horwath's NDP is at 25.8 per cent among decided voters.
With just two days left till ballots are cast, what does this mean for the province? Is a minority government assured? Or can one of the leaders shift enough votes their way to win firm control of the Legislature?
