Leaders' debate
I actually agree with the decision to exclude Green Party Leader Elizabeth May from the leaders' debates. This election is about whether or not we want to have a Harper government continue to govern the country. It will inevitably come down to a choice between a continuation or an Ignatieff government.
For the environment, among other things, including a more evidence-based and less ideological-based approach to policy development and accountability, I would prefer the latter. I believe that Ms. May's presence during the debates would blur a focus on this decision and this would give the advantage to the Harper government.
