Foreign affairs critic Paul Dewar announced Sunday he's running to replace the late Jack Layton as leader of the federal New Democrats.
Mr. Dewar, who was first elected to the House of Commons in 2006, is the fourth candidate to jump into the race.
British Columbia MP Nathan Cullen threw his hat into the ring on Friday, billing himself as an anti-establishment contender.
Brian Topp, a longtime backroom strategist and key architect of the party's electoral successes, is seen as the frontrunner to this point in the race. Mr. Topp was first out of the leadership gate after Mr. Layton died from cancer last month.
Quebec MP Romeo Saganash has said he's running. Several others are said to be looking at entering the race.
