A "well-known community activist" who happens to be a "Toronto Hindu leader." For some reason I have re-read the comment over and over again today and it troubles me more each time coming on the heels of Friday's news conference by Dhalla. I'm not sure why I'm troubled by the comment or if I am making too much of a throw-away quote in the Sun and I don't have my normal 2,000 words to contribute on what it means other than I have a feeling we will be talking about related issues that go beyond the direct accusations against Dhalla - or even how foreign domestic workers are treated in Canada - in the weeks and months to come.
