What Layton’s cabinet could look like Add to ...

Jack Layton mused about being prime minister on Wednesday. It may have been a mistake but it is not outside the realm of possibility. Strange things can happen in elections when emotions get in the way of clear-headedness.

Let us take Jack up on his challenge and project some of those who might join him in his cabinet.

The Rt. Hon. Jack Layton, PC, MP – Prime Minister and Minister of Constitutional Affairs

The Hon. Thomas Mulcair, PC, MP – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance

The Hon. Libby Davies, PC, MPMinister of Foreign Affairs

The Hon. Ryan Cleary, PC, MPMinister for Inter-Governmental Affairs and Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador

The Hon. Nathen Cullen, PC, MPMinister of Natural Resources and Minister Responsible for the Asia-Pacific Gateway

The Hon. Ruth Ellen Brosseau, PC, MPMinister of Human Resources and Skill Development

The Hon. Jim Koppens, PC, MPMinister of State for Foreign Affairs (the Americas)

The Hon. Pat Martin, PC, MPMinister of Industry

The Hon. Linda Duncan, PC, MPMinister of Western Economic Diversification

Is this what you want Canadian leadership to look like on May 3rd?
