Alert issued after Toronto man accused of sexual assault gets bail Add to ...

Toronto police have issued a public warning that a man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl has been released on bail.

It’s alleged that between May 2008 and January 2014, a man sexually assaulted a girl numerous times.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they believe there may be more victims.

Wayne Delroy Henry, 32, of Toronto, was arrested on Jan. 17 and has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of invitation to sexual touching and two counts of sexual interference.

Police say he has worked at various daycares and youth centres in the Greater Toronto Area as an early childhood educator.

They say he also volunteered at churches as a youth worker, participated in mentoring programs and acted as a soccer coach for young people.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
