Toronto police are investigating another reported sexual assault in a west-end neighbourhood.

A woman says she was groped from behind by a man (near Bloor and Christie streets) on Aug. 27 — the 10th known sexual assault complaint brought forward this summer by women in two nearby neighbourhoods.

Police also say a 25-year-old woman was followed by a man one day later while walking in the Annex neighbourhood area, but scared him away by screaming.

A suspect description for that incident is similar to that of a male suspect sought by police in connection with previous sexual assaults in the area.

He is described as black, 18 to 25 years, five-foot-eight and with short black hair.

Police have said the suspect in the earlier attacks is known to approach a woman from behind, assault her and then run away.
