Brampton teacher charged with sex offences involving former student Add to ...

A teacher in Brampton, west of Toronto, has been charged with sexual offences involving a former student.

Peel regional police say David Lang, 29, has been charged with sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and sexual assault.

Police say the charges involve a 13-year-old girl.

Mr. Lang has taught at Cheyne Middle School and Williams Parkway Senior Public School in Brampton and Fairwind Senior Public School in Mississauga over the past three years.

Investigators are concerned there could be more alleged victims and police want to hear from anyone with information.

Mr. Lang’s next court appearance is set for June 4 in Brampton.
