Durham regional police have identified a man whose body was found in an Oshawa home and say his death was a homicide.

Police say they were called to the home on Celina Street early Sunday by one of the man's friends.

The victim has been identified as 61-year-old David Walker, who lived in the home.

Police say he was stabbed, but are not saying what weapon was used.

Investigators remain on the scene and want to hear from anyone with information.
