Rob Ford celebrates birthday with break from rehab facility

Rob Ford spent his 45th birthday at a restaurant chain in Muskoka instead of the nearby rehab facility where he is undergoing treatment, CBC News reported Thursday.

A member of the bar staff told CBC that Mr. Ford drank only diet soda during dinner at the Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill outlet in Bracebridge, Ont., on Wednesday night. The Toronto mayor is being treated for "problems with alcohol" at GreeneStone Clinic Muskoka in Bala, Ont.

Pictures on social media appeared Wednesday night showing the Toronto mayor at Crabby Joe's.
