A fourth man now faces second-degree murder charges in the death of Kevon Phillip who was killed at the Don Jail in January.

Police arrested the 26-year-old man yesterday, months after Mr. Phillip, an inmate, was found bloodied and unconscious at the Gerrard Street jail Jan. 2.

He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died there, becoming the first homicide victim of 2010.

The arrest comes less than a month after police charged 22-year-old Said Mohamed with second degree murder in connection with the death.

Christoper Fearon, 26, of Toronto faces one count of second degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in court Sunday morning.
