A man has reportedly surrendered to police in connection with the theft of a poppy donation box in west-end Toronto.

The theft occurred last Monday at a pizza shop.

The 26-year-old man walked into a police station today at about 4 a.m.

Police say the same man is also a suspect in the theft of a poppy box theft last Thursday at a Toronto donut shop.

In Hamilton, meanwhile, police continue to look for whoever stole poppy boxed from two Tim Hortons restaurants last Thursday morning.
