Police say a man and a woman face 17 charges each in a Toronto firearm investigation.

Police say officers executed a search warrant at a home on Monday where they seized a loaded Mossberg pump action shotgun with five rounds of ammunition, along with other ammunition and a number of crossbows.

Ryan Sawada, 31, of Toronto faces 17 weapons-related charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a prohibited device.

Kimberly Hagen, 28, of Toronto, also faces 17 weapons-related charges, including possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized.
