Police cancel amber alert issued for missing Brampton boys

The OPP has cancelled a province-wide amber alert after two boys who were allegedly abducted by their mother in Brampton were found in New York.

Peel Police say Randa Hammadieh, 33, took her children Louis, 9, and Benny Gallego-Hammadieh, 8, from a home on Wildberry Crescent around 11:20 a.m. Friday and left in a silver Dodge Caravan, possibly with Quebec license plates.

Ms. Hammadieh was arrested by New York State police. She was in the company of two unknown males at the time of the alleged abduction.

Police are still looking for those two men, described as white male, 6'2, wearing plaid shorts and a black male, 5'10, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.
