A man is dead after a shooting in downtown Toronto early Wednesday, according to reports from AM640 and CP24.

Police say they received several calls about gunshots just after midnight (at Dundas and Sherbourne).

The male was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Police have not yet released any information about the victim or possible suspects.
