Suspect in custody after man’s death in Toronto bus shelter

Toronto police are investigating the death of a man who was found in a bus shelter in the city's north end.

Police say they have a suspect in custody but there is no immediate word on any charges.

Paramedics who responded to the scene at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East found the man without vital signs.

The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead in hospital.

He is believed to be 40 to 50 years old.
