Toronto police are looking for a suspect in connection with an alleged sex assault involving an eight-year-old girl.

Police say the girl was walking to school Monday morning (in the Bramble Drive/Barrydale Crescent area) when a man approached and grabbed her, indicating he had a weapon.

It's alleged that he then sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as white, about 19 to 22 years old, between 5 feet 6 and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build, large nose and short, black, spiky hair.

He was last seen wearing a plain black long-sleeved shirt, black silky pants and black shoes.
