Toronto police say they seized $6.5-million worth of drugs and arrested four people

Toronto Police have arrested four men and seized $6.5-million worth of cocaine and crystal meth.

Three men were arrested near Bay Street and Lake Shore Boulevard on May 6. Police say they searched two vehicles and found about 33 kilograms of cocaine.

Police investigating the case executed search warrants and arrested a fourth man and seized an additional 29 kilograms of cocaine, three kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and a small quantity of liquid GHB.

Arrested were Philipos Kollaros, 33, of Vancouver; Ritesh Thakur, 40, of Mississauga; Gursharan Singh, 29, of Mississauga; and Dimitri Alexiou, 36, of Quebec. They have been charged with four drug-related charges, including trafficking.
