Parts of a large park in Toronto's west end were evacuated Saturday after a suspicious package was discovered.
Toronto Police at 11 division confirmed that officers were dispatched to High Park after receiving information about a suspicious package along a bike path in the park. Two packages were located and the area was blocked off as a precaution, a police news release said.
Emergency Task Force members dealt with both packages and ruled the area to be safe.
Toronto Police issued a statement saying the investigation had been concluded around 9:30 p.m.
