Burritos, BB guns and bite marks: A Taco Bell worker’s violent clash with customer

A Taco Bell employee is facing charges after allegedly shooting a hungry customer with a BB gun in Massachusetts.

The Springfield Police Department said a 26-year-old man became irate after waiting for service at the drive-through window "for a very long time" early Sunday morning.

"The victim became angry (cause he was hungry) and parked his vehicle and went to the door (which was locked) and started to bang to get some assistance and make a complaint about the poor service," Sergeant John Delaney wrote in a statement posted to the department's Facebook page.

The would-be customer and a Taco Bell employee got into an argument, and the worker shoved the man out of the store, police said. The employee then went to his car and retrieved "a handgun (that turned out to be a BB pistol) and threatened the customer," Sgt. Delaney wrote.

"The victim claims he was shot several times by BB's and then struck with the weapon," he wrote.

However, police also said the worker had bite marks on his arm "caused by the victim during the fight over 'no taco's or burrito's.' "

Witnesses captured the confrontation on their cellphones and shared the videos with officers, police said. Sgt. Delaney said the fast-food restaurant was open at the time of the incident, which occurred sometime before 4 a.m.

Steven Noska, a 26-year-old Taco Bell employee, faces two charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery.

Taco Bell did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
