The Toronto G20 primer: The summit venue Add to ...

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre has hosted events for Canadian Idols, brides-to-be, and sci-fi fanboys, but the G20 will require a lot more preparation.

The 600,000 square-foot-venue will likely have an extensive security sweep the week prior to the summit, says Sergeant Cathy McCrory of the RCMP.

Public accessibility to the convention centre will likely be restricted during the week of the G20 but the skywalk should still be accessible up until June 25th.
