Pictures of the year: Moments that touched us

'If it bleeds, it leads' is an old cliché in journalism that to a large degree still hold today. When looking through photos of 2011 news events, you would be hard pressed to conclude that it was a very news year. But there were, wonderful, touching and uplifting moments that we all can recognize and share.
