Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 was a regularly scheduled passenger flight that disappeared on March 8, 2014, after departing Kuala Lumpur destined for Beijing, China. The aircraft, a Boeing 777 twin-engine jet, last made contact with air traffic control about an hour into its six-hour flight.
