In questioning God's power and benevolence in this tragedy, one misses its most obvious manifestation. The outpouring of public support, money and concern from all nations of the world has been astounding. There has been a record amount of financial aid from governments and, more importantly, from public donations.

Humans selflessly helping other humans -- this is God's hand at work.
