Be it resolved: incomes are stagnating among the middle class while the 1-per-centers are galloping ahead – so it’s high time to hike taxes on the rich.

This spring’s Munk Debate digs into what the World Economic Forum calls the most pressing problem of our time: income inequality. On the side of Robin Hood: Princeton University economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and former Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou. On the opposing side are Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, along with Arthur Laffer, economic adviser to Ronald Reagan.
