LISTING AGENT Jenelle Cameron, Re/Max Hallmark Realty Ltd.

The Action: Just a short drive east of Toronto, this freehold townhouse was toured by about 10 shoppers. The initial lukewarm response on the offer date made the sellers pondered whether to relist at a higher price, but then an offer popped up with a $15,100 premium.

What They Got: At the end of a row of townhouses with built-in garages, this 1,805-square-foot model encompasses three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a central dining area and fireside family room open to an eat-in kitchen with sliding patio doors to the fenced 25-by-112-foot lot.

The Agent’s Take: “It’s a little larger than some of the other units,” says agent Jenelle Cameron. “It’s still relatively new – it was built 10 years ago – but they did a lot of upgrades when they built the home, like extra cabinets in the kitchen and had hardwood throughout the main floor.”

Local amenities, from parks to a golf course, also hold universal appeal. “There are a lot of entry-level people because it’s a townhome, but at the same time there are a lot of families there,” Ms. Cameron notes. “And this is really close to the lake.”
