In a setting reminiscent of the old television show Melrose Place, Lexington on the Green is a collection of stacked condominium townhouses around a courtyard, with a private recreation centre.

The townhouses -- 155 in all -- will be three storeys, sales representative Justin Frustaglio says, and there are plenty of plans to choose from. "You can buy a one-bedroom or two-bedroom suite on the ground floor, or also buy the second level to get more space."

The smallest unit is the King -- a one-bedroom design with 633 square feet of space for $149,990. As the largest unit, the Weston has a 1,252 square foot, two bedrooms and a den, and is priced at $248,990. Both are one-level units.

There's a fully furnished model -- with two bedrooms and two bathrooms -- that buyers can tour.

The condo maintenance includes lawn-cutting, 24-hour surveillance, exterior insurance, snow removal, an on-site manager and underground parking spaces. Fees range from $157 to $164 a month. The fee includes access to Club Lexington, a separate building that has exercise facilities, a theatre, meeting room, European-style courtyard café, lounge, and a party room.

"Many units surround the park, where there will be a gazebo and playground," Mr. Frustaglio says.
