Three years ago, Ms. White and her husband, Trevor, who works at Deeley Harley Davidson Canada, had been looking for months. Her realtor gave them insider access to the Multiple Listing Service, and she was browsing the listings when she caught sight of a new one for a 2,830-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom house. ‘I sent a text to my realtor, saying, ‘I want to get into this house today. I need to make an offer.’
